WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING AS DEPUTY QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER:

  • Ensuring and supervising all laboratory activities performed by the laboratory assistant (technician): sampling, sample preparation, testing, measurements of the products/ semi-products throughout the production process;
  • Ensuring that all laboratory tests are performed accurately and in due time in order to confirm that product characteristics comply with the requirements of the applicable standards/ methods as well as with other internal documents (Manufacturing Quality Targets, Internal Product Specification, QC Plan;
  • Strictly checking how the procedures and work instructions are used by the lab personnel in daily laboratory work and contributing to their continuous improvement (sample preparation, cross checks of the analysis, methods used);
  • Planning of daily laboratory work;
  • Proper maintaining, updating and archiving of the laboratory documentation;
  • Main instruments calibration and regular checking (monitoring) in order to obtain accurate analysis results (XRF, XRD, calorimeter, testing machine, etc);
  • Ensuring proper operation of the laboratory instruments/equipment according to manuals and work instructions;
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments in perfect state of cleanness and notifying the Quality control manager whenever they do not function well;
  • Monitoring and maintaining LIMS reports; 
  • Ensuring that the requirements of laboratory and quality data reporting are well maintained in the TIS system. Overseeing the day-to-day entry of all samples and correct test results in LIMS;
  • Assuring implementation of new testing methods in agreement with the Quality control manager.
