New Acquisition in Aggregates
After more than a year of negotiations, Holcim has successfully completed the acquisition of VRIS OOD. It is added to the structure of Holcim (Bulgaria), Aggregates segment as a separate legal entity
With the acquisition of VRIS OOD Holcim has gained access to new markets - the region of Pazardzhik and has an opportunity to strengthen its current market positions in Sofia and Plovdiv.
The acquired company has concession rights on three fields in the region of Pazardjik which have been in operation for more than 6 years. During that time it has managed to establish itself as one of the major pits in the region of Pazardzhik.
The managers of Vris OOD are Thomas Guillot and Krasimir Fotev and the functional responsibilities are taken by the respective heads of departments in Holcim Karierni materiali Plovdiv and the centralized departments in the aggregates division.
